Territorial Jurisdiction:
The Tiwa Autonomous Council (TAC) jurisdiction extends to all Tiwa-inhabited villages situated outside the Sixth Schedule areas of Assam. The Council area covers constituencies in the districts of Morigaon, Nagaon (including Hojai), Kamrup (Metro) and Dhemaji, comprising 36 TAC constituencies and 263 notified Tiwa villages.
